I was recently visitiing another site that had a forum which I thought was a great idea. They had a forum called "Legendary Threads", which contained locked threads from any of the other forums. For example, there would be a hot thread going on for days that just kept getting funnier, and juicier. Finally, someone would suggest that the thread be locked out, and moved into the legendary thread forum, so that we could all laugh at it until the end of time, and would no longer be cluttering the orginal forum from which it came from.

Its not a bad idea - I'll store it away in my box of ideas. [IMG]

Here's another one. I don't think the clocks are in synch.

I visited a few hours ago. (its 4:45 pm mtn). Right now, it says my last visit was today @ 7:39.

Good idea, but I don't think you should add one their that caused someone to get banned or it is not liked by some people. I don't want people seeing my old topics where I was an idiot.

A legendary thread forum would be for those threads that are the most entertaining, funny, or otherwise more interesting when compared with the usual ones that we read each day - ones that are somehow exceptional in some way. I'm sure that with this site, people can think of about 10 threads that could make the all-time list. I don't think that any *type* of thread should be excluded unless the administrator would normally delete such a post. Having been deleted, it probably meant that it had crossed the line on offensiveness. Anything else could be fair game for bronzing.

People can already go look up all of your posts on this site anytime they wish. There is a search tool for that, or one could just page through all of them one by one. The legendary forum would keep them "unburied" within a smaller set of threads that can't be edited anymore.

The bold predictions (Romo).....the failed predictions (Steeler repeat)..... the stupid arguments about good Bledsoe and Manning numbers for 06......

Yep, there are some good possibilities.

Okay, Yea you can do that but, who would waste their time? Unless they have nothing to do. And also I have some old posts of mine out their I don't like but will not delete. I dont want them being advertised. I know the good ones can be their but I'm talking about the bad.

LMAO! I would nominate Dale's post about the INDISPUTABLE TRUTH ABOUT MICHAEL VICK. Because that seems to be the most "notorious" topic of all of the anti-Vick comments.

There was some pretty classic material and some words added to the NFL-Forums lexicon in that thread. I had a lot of fun with that thread.
