I just stumbled upon these boards and it looks like a nice lil NFL forum with some friendly posters that talk good football so i thought i would join. I think you guys have done a good job with the setup designating a specific section for each team, i haven't seen that done before. Hope to talk some good football with you guys throughout the remainder of the NFL season![IMG]</div>
Welcome to the boards Bolt. The team is certainly riding high, now challenging Indy for the top seed. As long as Rivers continues to impress, the team should go a long ways into the playoffs.

I was the only member here who boldly predicted the Chargers to be the AFC representative in Miami. Of course I'm hoping my Pats can bring ring #4 in this year. [IMG]

Welcome to the slowest NFL message board on the web. Anyway, I am scared about the playoffs this season. With Seau out, it seems like our run D isn't nearly as strong and if we face the Bolts, LT will make us look like a little league D.

I couldn't trust Rivers that much.

We certaintly have the talent, but Schottenheimer's history in the playoffs scares me. I just hope we maintain this win streak to guarentee ourselves the #2, and possibly even the #1 seed. We have played great at home this season and with the success Tomlinson is having I like our chances.

Romo is certaintly doing good for the Cowboys, and I was thrilled that they beat Sheli Manning and the Giants. The victory would have been sweeter Manning threw a costly interception late in the game that was run back for a touchdown to seal the victory-just so the New York media and fans could rip the guy apart again- but a last second game winning field goal is always awesome. I thought Parcells made a dumb move by cutting Vanderjack, but it looks like it worked out ok [IMG]

I've always liked the Chargers - and I really like San Diego (even though the one day I was there it was about 45 degrees). They are, IMO, the best team in the NFL right now. Tomlinson is by far the best player in the NFL and Rivers is playing extremely well. I don't see any reason why the Chargers shouldn't be the favorites from the AFC to make the super bowl.

That's what is cool about this place...A lot of NFL forums nowadays are filled with millions of idiots and trolls, so its refreshing to find a smaller board with cool fans from teams all around the league.

Anything can happen but I have to agree with this. Tomlinson is absolutely scary and now they have Merriman back. If the Pats play the Chargers I would almost be willing to bet money against my team, lol. That is, unless things drastically change quickly. I like Belichick's record in the playoffs but Marty's isn't that great. We'll see what happens I guess.

I never added my welcome. Welcome aboard BP.

I very easily could be a Chargers fan. It was that classic game in '81 (I believe) where SD & Mia hooked up that the Bolts eventually won. I became a phins fan then.

Realistically, the Chargers are the best team in the AFC right now and they should represent. If they falter, Baltimore has been quitely above average.
