Their measurements.
Bargnani is a shade over seven feet tall with Howard a finger width shorter. Howard is seven pounds heavier than Bargnani at 265 to Mago's 258.
Obviously the issue with playing centre isn't just size; it is strength and the ability to maintain position in the trenches. But I think some people don't realize that our Italian big man is average sized, if not slightly larger than the typical NBA centre.
Let's just hope our man doesn't fill up too much on pasta back home in training camp.

That's surprising, especially the weight. I would have guessed that Howard had Bargnani by at least 25 lbs.

I don't care what the scale says, Dwight Howard is MUCH bigger, bulkier, and stronger. Bargnani has a lot of weight in the lower body (no, that is not a homo comment), much like Yi Jianlian. Dwight Howard is a tank.

Dwight Howard will dunk on Bargnani at least once this season. Bargnani, on the other hand...nah.

Howard is so much stronger then Bargnani. I mean, they way the play is different to, and Dwight is way more athletic then Il Mago. But, Bargnani is more clutch, IMHO.

Haha, they may be the same size but Dwight is stronger, more athletic, and isn't a soft foreign big man. He'll dunk all over you then block your shot on the other side of the floor.
