im waiting for Rod Benson's new blog. i dont know why, but it always seems like the same numbers get recycled. why not wear number like 48? im sure they all picked the number for a reason, but it always seems to be someone that just wore it. anyway, im very excited about this training camp. i think it will be very competitive and entertaining for the fans. hopefully YES does some coverage for us

of the players with an unguaranteed contract, i still hope 2 players within the trio of Benson, Hite, and Jones makes it.

I wanna see Hite wear that jersey with pride.

Benson wore 0 at Cal. Plus a lot of times high schools just pick a certain quantity of jerseys and recycle them for a few seasons, so with the few, they pick what 10, 11,12, 20, 21, 22,23,24,25, 30, 31, 32,33, 34. I think that's one of the reasons why jerseys are just used over and over again at the NBA level. I remember the Suns had an issue with Antoino McDyess wanting to wear 24, but it was retired for Tom Chambers, so he wore 34, then when he left the next season, the Suns gave 24 to Gugliotta....in an effort to avoid running out of jersey numbers like the Celtics. So the Suns have gone away from retiring numbers to hoonroing players in their Ring of Honor.
