A couple months ago, I would have bet money that Rafer would be gone by now. But here were are, it's October, and we still have Mike James, Steve Francis, Rafer Alston, Luther Head, and Aaron Brook still on the roster. And there's no indication at this point that any of them will be traded or cut. I'm sure this will end up being a serious issue when the season starts. What's up with his attitude? Alston's starting to doubt himself already, and that's not going to get nowhere. He should just put his head down and work as hard as possible during training camp and try to keep his spot, not worry about whether he'd be the "odd one out".</p>
