The Rams got screwed by the refs at the end of the first half. Bruce caught the ball, fell, and went out of bounds. One ref whistled the clock stopped - then another ref started the clock again. St. Louis was forced to spike the ball and burn a timeout while losing about 10 seconds.

This game was a real snoozer in the 1st half. The 2nd half started out slow. It was 21-13 and then a Festivus miracle had taken place... the lambs were getting lit up like a Christmas tree.

2 thoughts from the first half; 1)Steven Jackson is not the best RB sporting dreadlocks and wearing #39, 2) I won't complain about Miami OLT seeing that Stuessie is trying to pick up the Pace. Steussie was good once... about 17 yrs ago.

Funny u should mention that b/c I heard in the pregame he looked at tape of & had called Maroney for advice on how to run against Chicago.

Devin Hester is a beast. It was awesome watching his performance last night.

Shouldn't he have called Ronnie Brown?

Apparently he felt Maroney's running style was similar to his & I guess they're old pals. Perhaps they have the same barber. [IMG]

    Agreed...Why not a challenge?

Last 2 minutes only ref upstairs can make a challenge

So, they had to spike ball quick, and thus preventing a replay

We rarely see this. So, let me be the 1st. BF1 is right.

The hometown timekeeper screwed it up so...
