2k sports is where sports fans go to die. It's kind of scary, you'd think there was a caps-lock epidemic over there or something.
Personally I like to turn up the overall difficulty, and my shooting sliders by 5 points, and turn down the CPU shooting by 3 or 4. That usually balances it out.

I found some in this thread on OS (Account needed).
I'll try them out and see if they are good.

QUOTE (jintuu)

Let me start by saying that very little if anything has to be changed. This is the best sports game I have ever played. Period. 2k really listens to its fans. They've addressed asically every issue that I personally have had with the game. I've played a few games and honestly the only real issue I've had is too many points in the paint and too few trips to the line. Not just big men but true shooters passing up open jumpers for contested inside shots. Just basically too many inside points/shots. They're both basically solved in the same way. Game Speed 48 Close Ranged Tendency-45 [Mid Ranged Tendency 60 3pt Tendency 60]-The problem I was having was partially that they were too slow on the trigger from mid-ranged and 3. This makes shooters far deadlier now cause they don't wait until someone closes on them. Collision Sensitivity 75 Pick Success-80 Foul Tendency 100 Shooting Fouls 85 My games have been basically flawless since then.

I'm playing Allstar, 12 minute quarters with Clutch Factor Off.

A small adjustment: having read DC's sliders I agree with his turning all the foul sliders to 75 and reset the Tendency to Foul slider to 50.

I hope for NBA Live 08 you will get to train in your backyark basketball court like the celebrities do on MTV Cribs, lol.
