http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=cr-a...=yhoo&type=lgns wow great article on the story of the Chargers GM AJ Smith, it makes me like the Chargers that much more
Well I read an article in the newspaper that talked about the whole comparison of Michael Vick and LT. It was really an eye opener considering what stats they compared.

I've been a Charger supporter ever since the Manning's snubbed them. Man that pissed me off. Ever since then I've rooted for the Chargers and against the Giants. The way it's shaping up is it was a gift to the Chargers as so far I'd say most teams would take Rivers over Eli right now

Any one who would chose NYC over San Diego just is not right in my book. We are talking weather/climate right?
I wonder how things would be if Eli had a different last name other than Manning, would the expectations be as high?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (MKIV_Supra)</div><div class='quotemain'>I wonder how things would be if Eli had a different last name other than Manning, would the expectations be as high?</div> If Eli's last name was Smith or Johnson, the Chargers definitely wouldn't have landed all those draft picks from the Giants...The organization bought into the Manning name, and AJ Smith was smart to capitalize on it. He originally wanted Osi Umenyiora as part of the deal as well..If he pulled that off, then this would possibly be considered as one of the greatest trades in NFL history.
