"Sean Williams has the tools to make an impact for the Nets at some point, but can he harness what he has and be a productive player? While talking after practice on Wednesday, Vince Carter noted Williams’ athleticism, confidence and relentlessness on the boards. According to VC, it’s up to the rookie’s teammates and coaches to educate Williams on how to play the game. Meanwhile, newcomer Jamaal Magloire loves his new team’s chemistry."
http://www.nba.com/nets/news/AllAccess_Onl...Camp_Day_2.html
So far Vince likes him. I love this kid so far and I think if he's given playing time that he will lead rookies in shot blocking. I love this kid on defense and as a high flyer. He has the ability to be just like Tyrus Thomas was for the Bulls last year as he brought energy and excitement to the game. Except I think Sean Williams has way more potential.

Please include a link to the article. -Kidd

Welcome to S2 NJNETS51. I don't have an opinion on him yet, but the word so far seems good (from more than Carter).
-Petey

QUOTE (jarkid)

He needs PoT.

fixed it

QUOTE (Swish)

YEA!!! SEAN WIALLIAMS 4 MVP MAYNE! I POST WIT NO PANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This gets my vote for the Nets slogan.
But yes, Sean Williams for MVP. Keep those pants off.

Welcome NJNETS51
Sean Williams should be gettin MVP, especially if he starts, and averages his 19 ppg, 14 rpg, and 10.6 bpg.
I hope he does get some minutes. And proves he has good shotblocking, rebounding, and defense, so he could really contribute this year.

The Nets seem to be a team where all the veterans step up to help the rookies and second-year guys. You never hear about any hazing. If they can help Sean develop quicker, all the more power to them. A Sean-Boone front court has potential. No range, but whatever. Just put Boki and Houston on the court with them.
