The video explains what this is all about well enough. I agree with the whole thing. The whole World of "beauty" dictation is very pathetic and disgusting for one thing.

Well they way they're making money of it, its disgusting. The companies that sell drugs, medicines, or whatever you wanna call them, to lose weight, become beautiful, better skin, etc. They're making billions of it. lol

QUOTE (M Two One)

Dove making money off of it?

No, the companies that sell the crap to "make" them look better, beautiful etc.

Anyway, yes it is disgusting. While I was in France they had allsorts ofshows about this whole beauty market and how it ruins women. You're almost born into it these days.

Its like getting brain washed from an early age, making them think that that is the only way to go.

Yep and worst thing I've ever seen so far reflecting this horrid BS was two years ago. I was driving north towards the city (Chicago) and this little girl, maybe 11 or 12 if not younger, was wearing slutty clothing with heavy make up and her hair done like a model. First thing that came to my mind was that I hope for her parent's sake that she isn't picked up by some psycho on the side of the road. Looking like is asking for trouble.

All these shows promoting bad things, (mtv for example).
And then you get like you said little girls trying to immitate their "idols", and they end up buying into the beauty crap which in turn the companies make money.
It's bad for the society IMO. If it was up to me I'd ban half the channels on tv. (the ones doing the crap, also the commercials)

Oh man, MTV? I wonder if people haven't realized they're now called Miscellaneous Television. VH1 has also followed them into the depths of television viewing hell. The only channels I can watch these days without much issue are sports networks like FSC, GolTV and Setanta.
