    2nd goal accomplished.

    1. Make playoffs - check
    2. Get homefield - check
    3. Win superbowl - ????

I think the Bears have to have legitimate concerns about their secondary when they aren't able to consistently pressure the QB.

injuries do that to a team.. but still we found a way to win it.. and thats what great teams do

But you still have to be worried...I mean you got torched by Tim Rattay and the 29th pass offense in the league. Just saying that this is a flaw for the Bears that has been exposed in the last two weeks. Injuries are a part of every team's season. Yes you got the win the last two weeks, but this has to be an area of concern with very good passing teams like Dallas and New Orleans as likely playoff opponents.

It is a concern but the Secondary now has 4 weeks to recover.. we can lose out and still be the #1 seed we have 4 weeks to get healthy.. and teams should worry playing us with a healthy roster

You are absolutely right. If vasher isnt back then we are in trouble. Obviously getting a week of rest will have D-line in good shape as well as vasher IMO, i think we are right where we need to be heading into playoffs

Every team can use injuries as a dodge for not being @ 100%. If I were a Bears fan, Grossman's consistent inconsistency is reason for worry #1.

I believe the Bears were @ full strength when they played the Phins and Pats?

Well since the Bears are in the NFC they actually have 7 weeks to rest up.
Home field helps especially teams like Chicago where I know Dallas and New Orleans won't enjoy going

I think the next goal should be win a playoff game. Then you can talk about possibly winning the NFC title game, but I'd say you're chances of winning the SB are still very slim.

Bears fans need to worry - there are obvious holes and Grossman does not play well in pressure situations (like a playoff game). The D-Line has been really hurt by losing Harris and now Tank Johnson deciding he wants to play "Boyz in the Hood".

My guess, Bears get to the NFC championship game and lose.

Bah, no need to worry. Rex will do great. D will be healthy and everything will come together, I like bears shot better than any AFC team. Easier path to get to big game. Got to get there to win it!

If the Pats don't make it I would LOVE to see a Bears/Chargers Super Bowl. That would be one hell of a game.

Bears won't get completely healthy. Tank Johnson probably won't be back this season cause of this incident and John Clayton reported today that the Bears are looking for a hole in the CBA so that they can cut him. They'll at least leave him inactive the rest of the season. Also, Tommie Harris will not be back. That's a big deal to lose both your starting DTs.

Unfortunately, the other half of that logic is that you have to beat the opposing team to win it. That's not a knock on your Bears, as I think they have a great shot at it this year. Just pointing out the flaw in your logic about getting there. That's akin to taking your sister to the prom to not risk rejection isn't it? If you get there and are not the superior team you will just be the first place loser.

I personally Would be happy with a SB appreance and a loss.. why it would be amazing feeling to see us win it all.. Just to go to the SB would be a victory in itself.. maybe not in the NFL standards.. But as a bears Fan and years and years of struggling, and falling short.. A simple apperance would be great to me.. And at this point anything less then an apperance would be considered a failure

It's tough to get over a Super Bowl lost. The Packers losing to Denver is still the worst feeling I've ever had in sports.
