Izod Arena? Lame! It has neither a cool nickname (Tha Roc, The Southpole), nor original motif (see the Southpole thread), nor does it even roll off the tongue. I can't take the brand image seriously, and don't see how Connecticut fashions applied to arctic yachting can be applied to Nets basketball (or the North Jersey demographic) successfully.
I'd rather have the Boom Tho Arena. (And if the Devils play, boom got them dos)

Izod..sounds weird. I don't like it that much. They should call it "The Triple Double Palace" or just "Jason Kidd Arena"

QUOTE (Real)

I hate this name. I hate change personally, unless it's good change, but this is a crap change.

what did you expect. Crappy arena = crappy change. Personally, I'm sad that Ecko didnt through its name into the hat. Its aJersey basedcompany andEckō Center has a ring to it.

Ugh, Izod is a terrible name.
I really, really don't want to refer to our court as "Izod Arena."
I think I might just call it "Jason Kidd Arena" until further notice. Anyone else up for that?

Ecko Arena....sounds cool, like 'epicenter' (epic center? I mean yeah!?)
As for Jason Kidd area? Well I think its already been his for a while now. I think I'll just call it "that temp agency that Bruce runs"
