Arsenal will entertain newly-promoted Sunderland on Sunday hoping to stretch their winning streak to 10 games. The visitors, managed by Roy Keane, inflicted an opening-day defeat on Tottenham but have since fallen into hard times, amassing five points from seven games. The Black Cats have not had a successful trip to Arsenal since Tony Adams' debut in 1983, but this will be the first time they have visited Emirates Stadium. This season Arsenal.com will be identifying the key battles for each Premier League game and bringing you all the statistics and information a fan could need. Swot up now and come Sunday you'll be impressing anyone who'll listen with your new-found knowledge.
Philippe Senderos v Kenwyne Jones Since stepping into the breach for injured captain William Gallas, Philippe Senderos has been in fine form for the Gunners. While he has been on the field Arsenal have not conceded a single goal, and the Swiss star's tough approach means he has lost just one tackle. With eight clearances away from goal, Senderos may not be presumed as a ball-playing centre-back but he has completed over 75 per cent of his passes. Kenwyne Jones has impressed since making the step up to the Premier League from Championship side Southampton in August. The Trinidadian striker scored a goal on his debut which demonstrated what he is all about. Power, quick feet and intelligence - he has only lost one tackle and has set up two goals for team-mates in his four appearances. He has also made the goalkeeper work at least once a game.

Alexander Hleb vRoss Wallace Despite suffering what looked a horrendous injury at West Ham last week, Alex Hleb recovered in time for the midweek win over Steaua. The Belarussian has been in good form for the Gunners and, although his goal tally is probably not as high as he would like, his influence has been immeasurable. The one goal he has scored was the crucial winner against Fulham on the opening day and he has continued to be a threat to opposition defences. Hleb's vision and comfort in possession means he has completed over half his passes and over 60 per cent of his attempted dribbles. Ross Wallace joined Sunderland from Celtic and has adapted well to his new role at left-back. Very much an attack-minded player, Wallace has hit the target for the Black Cats seven times and scored once. He has attempted six dribbles, completing three, but is still wary of his defensive duties. The young Scot has made nine tackles.

Emmanuel Adebayor vNyron Nosworthy Sharp-shooter Emmanuel Adebayor has blossomed as a striker in recent weeks. The tall Togolese international is the Premier League's top scorer with six, three of which came at Emirates Stadium last time out. His keen eye for goal means he regularly tests goalkeepers, hitting the target 10 times, and his array of passes find their target over 70 per cent of the time. Hoping to keep the Arsenal man quiet will be Nyron Nosworthy. The Jamaican has just received his first international call-up, and with a tackling success rate of five out of seven it is easy to see why. The defender has ensured no harm comes to his goalkeeper by clearing the ball to safety 14 times. Despite not scoring, Nosworthy has set up a team mate on one occasion and will look to use his powerful frame when attacking corners.

Arsenal should Win all these battles. I see Cesc and RVP aren't down cos they'll wipe the floor with anyone.
