QUOTE

In case you were wondering, the shoes fit like a glove.
And no, Josh Childress isn't feeling any pain in those feet that have given him so much trouble in the past.
In fact, if anyone looks ready for the Hawks' faster pace this season it is Childress, who has never had a problem thriving when the pace picks up.
"Coming in last year I had pulled my hamstring, and I was a little jacked up from that," Childress, a fourth-year Hawks swingman, said after practice Wednesday. "But I had a good summer of work. And I feel good. I feel really good. I'm feeling good mentally as well, and that's a big deal."
After Childress missed 27 games last season with fractures to both his feet, the concern about his health was expected. Only point guard Speedy Claxton (40) missed more games to injury last season than Childress.
But he has answered those questions after two days of training camp, showing off some nastiness when finishing around the basket.
"He's getting off the floor quick," Josh Smith said. "He's banging that rim, too, on his dunks. He's not messing around out here."
That's exactly the mode Childress wanted to be in after sitting down with designers at Nike over the summer to come up with some special inserts for his shoes to help take some of the pressure off his feet.

AJC.com

I'm with you. Childress is a great athlete who skill. He will play way more then Marvin and I think Childress could be a MIP candidt.

He scores efficiently, plays good defense, rebounds, passes.

He's very under-rated by most, even if he has the funkiest shot release East of Shawn Marion.

He's to injury prone, I like him, but he needs to stop getting hurt, when he just starting to produce.

He is so underrated. He is always consistent, and plays with energy. The Hawks need him off the bench.
