<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Barring a late rally, the Rams' home game Sunday vs. the Arizona Cardinals won't be televised in St. Louis. About 3,500 tickets remain, and NFL rules mandate that unless a game is sold out 72 hours before kickoff, it must be blacked out locally.

The deadline is noon today. Michael Naughton, the team's vice president of finance and ticketing, said he wasn't optimistic that a sellout will be achieved.

One Rams official said the team didn't expect to receive corporate assistance with sales this week, which in the past has helped avoid blackouts. Since moving here in 1995 from Los Angeles, the Rams have failed to sell out a regular-season game only once. That occurred last Christmas Eve, when the Washington Redskins were in town.

Only two of the five other home games are sellouts so far: Dec. 16 vs. Green Bay and Dec. 20 vs. Pittsburgh.</div></p>

Ouch, now the Rams are blacked out in the STL, while the Cards sell out.</p>
