sean williams' hops + 7'5" wingspan = 2 of antoine wright's shots swatted out of the gym in scrimmage...not good for antoine...he should probably just master that corner 3 where bruce bowen makes his living offensively.

also, the t-rex comment is more applicable to yao...7'5", short arms but have trees for legs.

Boy if we did keep Benson and run a zone d with the backline being Magloire, Williams and Benson. Minny had some success running out a front court of Griffin(RIP) and KG.....at least from a zone d perspective

Oh, that'd be awesome. My dream come true. It'd be like a volleyball game on defense, with the ball getting smacked everywhere.

Wow, impressive. Now, imagine if Magloire came with more height and hops, and if Williams had more height. That'd be a scary defensive shot-blocking duo to face.

I wonder if they'll get any floor time together. I'm really really really pulling for Sean to show his shotblocking and rebounding skills and get some minutes out there. He could turn out to be a huge asset to this team.

He has rebounding skills? I'm pretty sure he was a weak rebounder in college. Didn't even impress with his rebounding in summer league.

Word from camp is that he's improved on his rebounding, and is working harder to get rebounds. He averaged about 7(?) his senior year in college, which isn't so bad, and if he's improved on that, I'd be happy.

Saer Sene of Seattle is 7'9", I believe. Not sure that Magloire has the longest wingspan on the Nets. Ilic has a long wingspan as well.
