<div class="entry"> From NetsDaily:</p> </p> link</p> How Vince feels about it: </p> And the difference between past "new offense's": </p> </p> Important for Jason Collins haters: </p> oh yeah, and for anyone attending the practice, bring a non-perishable food item: </p> </p> </div>
<div class="entry"><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'> "You can score without having the ball in your hands as well, whatever works," Carter said. "Right now we're just trying to win games and go as far as possible. If they feel that's the way we have to go, let's do it."</p> </div></p> It's nice to hear, but last year we heard LFrank say the complete opposite in terms of Vince's willingness to accept team-oriented offense.</p> <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'></p> "Now there's going to be a lot of looks for everybody, a lot of movement for teams trying to guard me a particular way.</p> </div></p> This killed me.</p> </div> Well I support the move whole-heartedly. I'm hoping that Magloire can set a decent pick and get Collins out of the rotation, too. As for whether or not Vince and Frank stop going iso? We'll have to wait and see if Vince's dedication to winning is true. However seeing as he just entered his 10th year in the league, and has had his fair share of 2nd round knock-outs, I might have to believe; not sure I have a choice though. This sounds good to me.</p> Hell at least the last 10 seconds of our close games won't be as predictable zzzzzzzzz</p> </p>
I like what I hear. I've always wanted the same offense to be run when Martin was here. Carter was make such an offense unstoppable: like a Kerry Kittles with better shot and ability to drive to the hoop at will.
Lies the off-season has told me --</p> 1. Jason Kidd now finally has a competent backup and will be playing 32 MPG this season.</p> 2. Vince is happy moving without the ball and playing in an offense where he is not the primary ballhandler. He will use the extra energy from this reduced offensive responsibility to run the floor and play lockdown defense.</p> These claims are staples of every off-season, and they will never, ever happen. Ever.</p>
