Houston at number one is a bold prediction. Surprised to see Phoenix at only 4 and the Hornets over the Warriors.

To tell you the truth I'm very surprise to see the Clippers in last position but the injury to Brand makes it better to understand.I'm also surprise to see Houston first I think that PHX is a overall better team than the Rockets but whatever.Hornets over the Warriors I'm shocked.

Yeah the Warriors one is a shocker. I might even put them ahead of the Lakers in the Pacific at this point. Pre-trade the Warriors were a .500 team, but post-trade they had one of the best records in the league and went on a huge win streak to get into the playoffs. They won't have JRich, but he was injured for a significant amount of games last season anyways.

This year the Warriors have SJax and Harrington for the entire season and they bring back most of the core players. With all their firepower they are tough to defend and match up with in the regular season. Coaches and teams don't have the luxury of 7 game series to figure out how to stop them and pick on their weaknesses. In the regular season you only get one shot at them and if they are hitting from the perimeter it's lights out for most teams.

Hornets are a solid team, but they didn't do much to improve except get healthier. They don't have much lowpost offense, and they lost some key veterans in the offseason.

I agree at this point I too will put the Warriors ahead of the Lakers there a great team that had a great finish last season. There a team that might come and surprise many people again there always like the under dog and they always shock people.I don't know much about the Hornets but I doubt that they will be ahead of the Warriors because I think that the Warriors might surprise many people again.

I don't see the Rockets in first, it's possible, but unlikely. T-mac and/or Yao will probably get one of their trademark injuries that will push them back. I think t-mac is prone to injury because of his back spasm problems, so thats a minus. I don't see the Jazz being as good this year as they were last year. AK is pretty disgruntled right now, I think they were a one time deal just like the Clippers were in 06. Suns can very well be in 4th IMO, due to age and maybe the inconsistancy of Marion now that he would like to be traded. Lakers will probably end up in 6-8.
