Carroll's second-ranked Trojans look to extend their winningstreak at the Los Angeles Coliseum to 36 games Saturday whenthey host lowly Pac-10 Conference foe Stanford. USC (4-0, 2-0 Pac-10) moved a step closer to a sixth straightconference title with a 27-24 victory at Washington last weekendthat cost the Trojans the No. 1 spot in the media poll toLouisiana State. Stafon Johnson and Chauncey Washington combined to rush for 228yards and two touchdowns for the Trojans, who committed 16penalties and three turnovers but outgained the Huskies by awhopping 460-190 yards. Stanford (1-3, 0-3), which will be facing its fourth ranked teamthis season, was crushed at home by then-No. 23 Arizona Statelast weekend, 41-3.
