Well, I've heard there is serious tlak about a Moss,#1 pick swap tot he Falcons for Vick...The Falcons are really happy with Matt Shuab and they actually think he is ready to take over full time...
They also don't have a reciever threat besides Crumpler but he is a tight end and drops the ball a bit....I think this rumor makes sense for both teams...I'd do it in a heart beat if I was either team..Is this really a possobility?Thoughts?

Won't happen. If it does, I'll be completely blown away by the decision. I just don't see the Falcons giving up on Vick, at least not yet anyway.

It would not surprise me. If it does go down, Atl will ask for more and Al Davis is just nutty enough to do it.

Maybe it was Moss for Schaub?? That would make more sense since the Falcons are devoted to Vick.

It doesn't make sence to get rid of their best WR for Schaub, since Schaub is a normal qb. It does make sence to get rid of their best WR for Vick who doesn't throw as much, and uses the TE primarily. I'd say a 1st rounder and Moss for Vick would be a pretty good move for the Falcons, and the Raiders would at least win some games since Vick doesn't need a good O-Line to to be effective. I think it's possible that it will happen since the Falcons are probally realizing that Vick is not the qb to lead them to a Super Bowl.

Well, the talk form what I heard was the Raiders want Vick very badly and that the Falcons already think that Schuab is ready to start...Talk was supposedly Moss,1st pick for Vick....Prolly some other things thrown in there...

    In My Opinion:
Raiders-They would break out of this one very well because Moss is a game-changer and a big time QB that can make his own offense despite horrific blocking form the line which is what he'd have to face with the Raiders...Plus, Al Davis would give Vick the freedom to do anything he wanted...
Falcons-It'd be greta for their side considering they believe Schuab is reayd and that they'd finally get a recieving threat...Plus, they'd recieve the pick which would help them to bring in some new blood maybe the blood beign Adrian Peterson who could come in and replace the aging Dunn....I'd think the trade would be great from both parties perspectives...It is the msot logical thing I can think of...It was just what Iheard..Usually these kinds of deals never get doen anyway.

You are assuming that the offensive line is going to look exactly as it is next season. It is the offensive line that is ailing the Raiders today. There haven't been too many teams in history that have had such little offensive line production as today's Raiders. You can't hang that all on the QB's, they are using every precious millisecond that they can get out of the line. As we have seen all season, Robert Gallery and a couple others have been flat out getting beat on passing downs. Gallery is too slow to catch the outside rush. Then on the next play, he gets his feet right for the outside rush, then the guy will cut inside, leaving him frozen in place. It's an all too familiar pattern that the TV cameramen have also noticed, and provide us with slow motion replays to demonstrate.

The right thing to do would be to get an effective pass protection, so that the Raiders can use the type of quarterback that they really want back there.

Yea, they don't have a strong line by any means...I think it would be a great trade by them to give up the 1st overall pick and Randy Moss for Mike Vick becauise at least Vick can scramble to get it done....The Raiders could go after a good lineman in free agency and begin to build form there....

Kind of like what the Niners did.....
Two seasons ago, they got Jonas Jennings form the Bills to be a good veteran lineman with much talent....Then, last season they went out and got Larry Allen and it's no secret why Frank Gore is having an unbelievable year...It is because of that great left side of the line....Eric Heitmann/Larry Allen/Jonas Jennings....This is what the Raiders should do///
