Im watching the bowl game vs WVU, and I have to say this is the best reciever since Andre Johnson to come out of college. He is 6-5 235 and has great speed. He has one of the best personalitys and blocks for the run well. He is going to score lots of TDs in the pros.

I really hope the Raiders do not pick him in the draft because he is way to good to go 2 that team, i think he doesnt make it past the browns who keep on adding playmakers.

The Browns have to many other issues then at WR.. oakland needs someone who could throw to Johnson.. But we all know the draft isn't always about need

He's better than Andre Johnson coming out. I think Way better. He's the best WR prospect to come out this decade and maybe ever. He runs a sub 4.4 He has a 40 inch vertical and has great hands. Not to mention the body of a TE. One thing he needs to do better is go up and get the ball more consistent. I know he was amazing today but he had some cacheable jump balls that he dropped this year.

I'm holding my breath that he falls to 7 overall - I doubt it, but I'm still hopeful. [IMG] I think Tampa might take him, Oakland will go QB.

The thing is that he has one of the best personalities in college football, he reminds me a lot of Torry Holt in the way he approaches the game. He just works hard and doesnt get mad when he doesnt get the ball like TO does, all he cares about is the team.

He might even go back for another year because he loves college so much.

That won't work. The Lions will still have a top 10 pick in the draft.

Pats trade for Calvin Johnson..................... I WILL GO NUTS..........Come on.. its possible.. a drafts from seattle which they trade for deion branch... which is a free ride to go for Calvin johnson..

Seriously a receiver like that end up with a bad team... is a waste..... Imagine how Tom Brady dangerous with Calvin on his offense..

It would take both the Pats #1s, plus picks later in this draft and picks from next year to get high enough to draft Calvin Johnson....if they want to do that, by all means, let them screw themselves....

I agree. This early in the draft it makes sense to draft BPA. The Browns would have a pretty lethal combo of Braylon Edwards and Johnson. The only thing that could change this is if they somehow manage to pickup a good QB at the #3 spot, which I don't see happening with the Raiders and the Lions needing a QB.

The only way the Vikings pick him up is if they move up in the draft. Honestly, I don't know if it would be worth moving up unless you can simply package the #7 pick with a player at a position where we have some good depth.

I think Cleveland has bigger needs than WR and they have a coin flip with Tampa for #3 yet. I think Johnson would be a nice fit in Tampa. Gruden is a former WR coach and Clayton hasn't been that great. Top that off with Galloway getting older. Simms needs a target to throw too. Seems like a good fit.

Vikings could end up with Dwayne Jarrett in all likley hood though.

The Vikings should go after a qb in free agency, it would help this team because they FINALLY have a defense...If they had this good a defense when Moss-Culpepper where there...We'd be talking bout a couple SB's on the Vikes side...

Is Gruden coming back in 2007 for sure?

Vikings will not draft a QB. Tavaras Jackson was taken to have a shot at being the QB of the future. He will get his chance to be just that next season. They could consider moving up for JOhnson or just stay put and take a very talented Dwayne Jarrett.
