QUOTE

Marcus Williams’ needing surgery hurt Houston, but so did Houston for not announcing his decision sooner. According to many people I spoke to, it was probably going to be the Nets. Had he chose last week and signed with the Nets they probably wouldn’t have gotten Darrell Armstrong. They would have honored their commitment to Houston had he committed to them

We need a backup pg a lot more than another wing player. There was also no gurantee he will make the roster or if he could even shoot the way he used to, which is the only reason I would want him on the team anyway.

If Houston was going to be his old self and be able to stay healthy, he would have been nice to have...butwiththatallupintheair(plusneedinganotherPGmorethenaSG), I'm much happier with getting Armstrong.
If it came down to Armstrong and Houston, have to take Armstrong.
Can't say I wouildn't like both though.

I still don't understand how he can go to the Knicks. They have less room then us.

Anyways, Jumiane Jones is a nice backup prize.

i dont care about houston anymore, im tired of his BS. It's not that hard to make this decision and he's acting like a *****. I hope he ends up going to knick training camp so then he could feel stupid when he doesnt make the final roster. By that time the nets roster will be set and then he won't even play this season. If he chooses the knicks he's goin to regret it and honestly he's not goin to make the difference on our team of a championship.

totally agree. DA can give more to us on the O end and the D end. allan would be a bigger name to put on the floor and the D would wana watch him, but DA is the better 2way player and when we played those years against detroit there was always a guy who would pressure the ball full court and it was very effective. i would rather have AH than Brob or Mile, but that isnt realistic at this point. AH is such a mystery right now. whoever he comes back with i expect him to only be an O player. we are trying to rebuild out defense and weve brought in nice defensive type players, plus we have Boki who is really impressing people who can hit the outside shot along with improving his overall game. so we do have our shooter off the bench, he may not be as good as houston once was, but i bet hes probably just as good to houston now.

Good for Houston tho, I'm glad he ain't with the Nets. I don't like him.
And I'm starting to come to the conclusion that Jones has become an injury prone bitch, and because of that, he probably won't have a chance at making the team if he keeps up these injuries.

Did I miss something? Did he officially pick the Knicks, or is all this just speculation?
p.s., I prefer to root for Antoine and Hite, if he makes the team.
