After seeing his side complete an unlikely comeback from being a goal down to take a 2 goal lead, Tottenham boss Martin Jol admitted he was bitterly frustrated his side could not hang on claim all three points.

In his post-match interview Jol looked haggard and distraught after a late Fernando Torres goal denied him a pressure-relieving win at Anfield,

However the Dutchman, facing renewed speculation this weekend over his position as Spurs boss, refused to blame his side, instead he insisted there was still a lot to come from his team,

Spurs deserve better though. They're much better than where they're ranked in the league right now.

Expect by the end of the season for them to jump somwhere from 5th to 8th place.

    Spurs or Liverpool?

Both for me could take that spot. How I see things right now, at the end it'll be Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea. (the last three spots could change, depending on if chelsea hire a coach)

You're right though, its a long season and thinks could change. These five teams will be at the top, utd - arsenal - liverpool - chelsea - spurs, where in the ranking we'll see. [IMG]
