Last night, at the Fiesta Bowl, I noticed it was Jimmy Johnson & Barry Swtzer along with Chris Rose. JJ was enjoying himself alot waching Barry twist in the wind while giving his thoughts on the 1st half.

Moments ago, it was the vanilla one & JJ. Thanks. I'm feeling much better now that he's no longer on screen. What I found funny was there was a sign for BlockBuster Video which was owned by (Dolphins owner) Wayne Huezinga.

I notice for the Sugar Bowl thoughts they had Howie Long talk about LSU and not Bradshaw.

Overall, the announcing has been okay. I'm glad they have Pat Haden who usually does Notre Dame on NBC doing the game tonight. Thom Brennaman was okay last night but I prefer him for Baseball. I do not recall who the color guy was but he was so pro-OU it was making me sick.

Speaking of OU, can we go one game broadcast nationally w/o seeing Toby Keith?

Barry Alvarez did a good job last night.

Barry Alvarez is just a football guy and knows the game a lot. I was surprised to see him do that good but he really provided some good insight as the game went on. Plus Wisconsin gets a little noticed. That's mainly why he took the job I think.

Overall I think their doing a better job than ESPN/ABC and I think their production is better than what they do with the NFL. I've liked it so far and I enjoyed both games.

Howie & Terry in the booth for the Sugar Bowl is a riot.
