The big news so far this summer is Turiaf being upgraded into the starting lineup. Let's see how he co-exists with Bynum and the other starters against the Warriors.

I'm interested in seeing how Sasha does this year. I know Kobe likes him. (as a player of course) lol

Those two could do some trash talking in Italian and I'm sure they'd put on a show.
Lakers have a clear size advantage in this game, but the Warriors speed is a concern for me tonight. They are faster at every position except shooting guard, so the Lakers better control the glass. It's only preseason but I always want the Lakers to win.

i hope kobe doesnt need to put up 30... im happy with him putting up 12 pts and 8 assits in 20 mins of play... i dont care if we lose or win... i just want the players not named kobe to gain some confidence and swagger

LOL.
There's no need for Kobe to play much in preseason since he got in shape during the FIBA tournament. Having out there to run the offense and build up confidence in Bynum, Turiaf, and the rest of the starters should be his objective for the summer.
I'm looking forward to the PG positiong battle tonight. Baron Davis is premiere guard in the league and will be a good barometer to see how far along Farmar and Crittenton for the upcoming season. Farmar has been very impressive in practice, let's hope that carries over in live play.
Radman on SJax is a terrible matchup for us if SJax has his jumper going tonight.
Bynum will be tested by Biedrins, because Andris is very active in the post and has improved his timing to get blocked shots. I'm hoping Bynum realizes he has a clear size advantage over Biedrins and over powers him enroute to a slamdunk.
EDIT:
Coverage begins at 9:45 PST TV: KCAL/9 | Radio: AM 570 Also on Fox Sports Bay Area

At 10:00 by that time I'm sleeping but I'll manage to watch the game.Man I want to see Crittenton play.

man im excited...btw Shape I can't do play by play for this game cause i gotta watch it in the family room by the kitchen cause my dad is getting me a new TV...gave my old one to my grandpa lol

^LOL my dad gave my TV to my grandpa too.But I already have a new one.Sharp Shooter Radmanovic expect him to be on fire from the 3 point line.

Game is on it's way and both teams have come out letting it fly. Radman made the first bucket for the Lakers on a 3 point shot assisted by DFish. One change in the starting lineup is Mihm at center for the Lakers.
The Warriors have been beating us with the pick and roll and Biedrins is getting his hand on every offensive rebound. Mihm needs to do a better job of boxing him out with Turiaf.
Jesus hasn't taken a shot yet.
10-11 Warriors with an early lead.

Baron Davis with 5 straight points, Warriors lead by 6 now.
Al Harrington has two quick fouls.
Derek Fisher has been trying to attack the rim, but has missed bad and just turned it over.
Warriors score again, up by 8 now. Easy basket on the inbounds.
Warriors are killing us on the glass.

Baron Davis another 3 pointer, Warriors lead 10-21 now. Radman with a fade away 3 misses badly. Terrible shot. Timeout Lakers, PJax has seen enough sloopy play.

Steal by the Lakers leads to a Fisher layup assisted by Kobe. Warriors had a 7-0 edge in points off turnovers prior to that play.
BYNOMITE is in the game!
