<span style="font-style: italic">Oct 9</span> - Bryan Colangelo said yesterday that the club would consider making a European tour every other year should the NBA so choose to select them for the voyage. Given Colangelo's affinity for the place -- he is married to an Italian and currently has space on his roster for players from Italy, Spain and Slovenia -- he'd likely be happy to make it an annual tradition. Teams are prohibited from travelling overseas in back-to-back seasons, but Colangelo said biennial voyages would be "realistic."</p>

While he acknowledged Sam Mitchell's concerns, he spoke of the long-term importance of developing a European audience for both the league and the franchise. And he pointed out a competitive upside to playing the Euros.</p>
