Oct 10 - "Teaching points" is a phrase Hawks coach Mike Woodson utters often during practice, referring to the situations that arise during scrimmages and games that his team can learn from.

He witnessed quite a few of those during the Hawks' 94-93 win over Orlando on Monday night and made sure to hit them hard during Tuesday morning's practice and film session.

One point he'll continue emphasizing to his point guards is to "see the floor."

Woodson said he counted a half dozen times in the first half alone where his point guards missed opportunities to make passes up the floor for potential transition points. -- Atlanta Journal-Constitution

PG's should be able to see the floor by this level. I guess, the more they play together, the more they will understand where the players are. Law will be able to to this with ease. He is great at seeing the floor. Speedy Claxton will get better at that to.

I also think more then just PG's should push the ball. Josh Smith should do it sometimes to.
