1. Florida Gators - No argument should be made against them. They deserve to be Champs. 2. LSU Tigers - I would like to see a Florida vs. LSU rematch. One of the reasons why I think we need a playoffs. Great year by IMO the most talented team top to bottom. 3. Ohio State Buckeyes - Despite the lost you can?t deny a great all around season. 4. USC Trojans - Pete Carroll might?ve done his best coaching job with this team. 5. Boise State Broncos - Deserves a Top 5 Ranking IMO. 6. Louisville Cardinals - Great year by an overlooked team. 7. Michigan Wolverines - Good News: They could be in the NT next year. Bad News: Lloyd Carr and Chad Henne will probably choke. 8. Wisconsin Badgers - Great year for the Badgers. Bringing in some strong recruits and return 16 of 22 starters next year. 9. Auburn Tigers - I thought they were overrated to start the year and I was right. However I must concede they finished stronger than what I thought they would. 10. West Virginia Mountaineers - Definitely National Championship contenders next year with Rich Rodriquez, Pat White, and Steve Slayton returning.
