There is a lot of talk about Coughlin getting fired. and the Giants havent said anything about it yet. So what do you guys think will happen? I hope for the Giants sake they fire him.
yea Coughlin just doesn't seem to control his players. At the same time its the same players like whitfield and Shockey always stirring up trouble. I wouldnt be mad if coughlin stayed but i think its time foir him too go. Im not sure who would replace him though.
Yep, he satying, signed a 1 year extension. Good move if you ask me, its not control of teh players, its playing smart football. And i have a feeling he will push them HARD this off season.
and the players will just keep not liking him and play just as bad because he has no control over them and they dont care wat he thinks you have to have control of the players in order to play smart football

Control wasn't the issue necessarily, it was more along teh lines of immaturity mixed in with gasoline and add a little bit of pure dumb football. No coach can technically "control" 53 adults making millions of dollars. Bill Parcells doesn't have control of his team, why not fire him? Its a dumb double standard and Im glad they kept coughlin around. Believe it or not, most players "like" coughlin. Sure he is a hard ass, but you know coughlin isn't there for the ride, he is there to win and to push his team as far as they can go.
