Fabregas: We Miss Henry, But He's Replacable
Arsenal midfielder Francesc 'Cesc' Fabregas insists that the current crop of strikers at the Emirates can fill the considerable boots of Thierry Henry...
Cesc Fabregas has praised his teammates for stepping up to the plate in the absence of Thierry Henry. The Spanish midfielder told Sky Sports of the difficult adjustment period following the French striker's departure for Barcelona in the summer. He said, "In the beginning it was very difficult because he is a great player. We all miss him, not just on the pitch but also in the dressing room. But we have to accept it. Life goes on and we have to move on. "I think right now we are doing very well, as we have other options. Adebayor and van Persie are doing really, really well and Eduardo is adapting very well." Eduardo da Silva, a summer acquisition from Dinamo Zagreb, has yet to really force his way into the side, but Cesc feels that it's just a matter of time. "Eduardo is very strong and can help us in a lot of key moments in the season and we have to be happy with what we have got," he said. Cesc, pressed for his opinion on the 'best league in the world' debate, predictably claimed that the Premiership was the finest domestic footballing competition at present. He insisted, "English football, right now, is the best league in the world for me. "But I think in Spain there is a lot of quality the players are very, very good technically. "When you talk about games, the passion, the fans playing in England everyone gives 100 per cent and I think that it is a great, great league." Cesc left the FC Barcelona cantera for Arsenal without having played a first team game in Spain. Now, he's a Spanish international and a first team regular in centre-midfield for his club.

He kind of kept the team back from being able to win the league and stuff.
Scored a bunch of goals, but always the ball had to go through him, they had to look for him all the time.

The team was always scared to Surpass Henry so they were always held back Ironically Our best player was also our Biggest Hinder. He was too big a player for Arsenal. Although he's the greatest foreigner in the premiership ever he is now past his prime and it's time for Arsnenal's Young Guns to Shine.
This is the year of Cesc, Robin, The Emmanuels, Gael, Eduardo, Phillipe, King Kolo, William, Alex, Tomas, Bacary, Lassana, Abou, Denilson, Alexendre, Mathieu, Manuel, Niklas, Justin, Armand and THEO

Oh shit, at first I thought you forgot about Theo, then it was like, THEO BITCH! all up in my face.

Yeah, I do agree. having Henry on the squad, limited our players performances, we realied toomuch on him to get the wins for us. Im glad were playing like a team now, Adebayor,RvP,fabregas are nowscoring. None the less, Henry will still be a Gunner legend 4 life!!!

How can you say that though. He is a winger and winger get assists and he has been doing a lot of that lately. Also he has scored some great goals.

Why are you showing us a video of some young non-hopeful scoring against a bunch of un-proven un21 internationals.

I think Walcot will become as much as an icon as henry but not the same style but not yet maybe 2 or 3 seasons

Ronaldo, you are a wanker and everyone knows that, and Kyle, you support Liverpool. 'Nuff said. Walcott hasn't even had a start on 1st team this season yet. And he's not even 20 yet.

QUOTE (Y2Kyle)

Fabregas is a cocky and arrogant tosser.

Why go off-topic? we are talking about Walcott and you go off with an Off-topic stupid comment?
That's exactly the kind of stuff that got you banned from DYC.

If you were a suitable and good mod you would realise the topic went off a while ago and the original thread was about FABREGAS. This is exactly the behavious that will be getting you de-modded soon enough. I have in total 8 screenshots of you misbehaving as mod. All going to Bronco, good luck
I have also learned that threads are started to create converstions, and therefore random topics may spring up but may be related in some way, love MainEvent.

I don't understand what your deal is Kyle. It seems like almost every Arsenal thread, you have a immature, and irrelevant comment that totally kills the buzz of the thread. By now I make all your d-bag comments into a scrapbook.
(And if Liverpool had a point for each time they have made an excuse, they would be destorying the Premiership right now)

QUOTE (Y2Kyle)

Fabregas is a cocky and arrogant tosser.

How Ironic?
Wow, he fits your personality and you hate him?...lol
