"He's a marvel," Frank said of the 39-year-old point guard. "Let's throw his age out. His energy level, even as a 19-year-old, to do it day in and day out, I think it's great. It's contagious, and it puts pressure on other guys to practice with intensity."

Nenad Krstic reported no residual problems after his third day of full-contact practice. -- Newark Star-Ledger

Good stuff about Armstrong and Nenad. I read something about him today...sounds like he is pyhiscally okay, but he needs to get over the mental hump (easier said then done) and get back into the swing of playing again.

why is it bad news for Marcus? He is getting a chance to serve an apprenticeship from two PGs that can teach him alot--ESPECIALLY when he is sitting on the bench next to Armstrong for 38 minutes a game. He'll get his chance.

If you watch the NBA.com video on Netsdaily, all you hear is Armstrongs voice the entire time. Quite comical.

One thing I've always liked about this Nets team is the lockerroom; I pride myself being associated with a team thats unlike the Knicks or Blazers of the past. DA will not only help us play Nets basketball, but his character is consistent with a Nets lockerroom.

I'm not sure how vocal Kidd is with Marcus, but obviously Darrell should be vocal with him, and that should help his development somewhat. I'm sure Darrell could teach him a thing or two, and if he's really thinking about coaching, and feels he's good at it, he could get a great start in helping Frank coach Marcus.

loved this signing from day one that is would be a possibility of DA coming here. this is more of a positive for marcus and us as a team than a negative. we dont have to rush marcus back now. marcus, as of now, is the future at the pg spot for us. we have actually upgraded the backup pg role because marcus got hut but that isnt a slap at marcus because DA has years and years of experience that obviously marcus doesnt have. when marcus comes back he will have kidd, frank and now DA teaching him. DA is going to be the best signing of the summer for us. i wish it would be magloire but DA will be huge because he is valuable when he is in the lockerroom or on the bench. i feel super confident that come playoff time kidd will be very very fresh. hard to imagine what a fresh kidd can do when he did avg a triple double last yrs vs the raps. maybe he will avg a triple double for rounds 2,3 and hopefully 4 if we are lucky enough to stay healthy
