Rumors are going around that GB is in talks with Oakland for Moss. I read a radio station in Minnesota and now the local one here in Green Bay is reporting that the Packers and Raiders are talking. Believed to be something like a 3rd rounder + player. Speculation is it could be Robert Ferguson but I believe it's wishful thinking.

Then again this isn't confirmed so it could be as much false as true.

I in no way shape or form like Randy Moss the least bit, but if we could get him for that price wed really be getting to of the most dominant players from the last decade in one, Randy coming in almost assuringly brings #4 back. Moss Would make our Redzone offense that more potent plus give us someone to stretch the field, allowing us to groom jennings as a primary slot guy were he could make a living, and with Double D on the other end we could have one of the most potent offenses in the league. Especially if we bring in MarShawn Lynch in the draft paired with Amahn Green!

wow, if that is true that's definately one hell of a steal, but I guess Moss's #'s haven't been that great as of late have they? I would blame it on the team he's on but that could be how they'd part with him for cheap.

I mean his attitude towards his team and the "effort" he's been giving isn't very attractive but I think going somewhere other than Oakland would definatly be a plus, as long as he's not anywhere in the NFC North but the Packers so he can't torch us twice a year again!

I am really mixed about Moss. It would be a good trade for the Pack.

As for rumors, at one point, Saban to Tuscaloosa was just that and we all know how that turned out.

    Do we really want Moss?[/quote]
He also is the deep threat GB is missing.

I'm sure he's not the only Packer or only player in the NFL to smoke weed.

I'm sure he's not the only player in the NFL to ever do something bad let along break the law.

This is funny. He FAKED Mooned the fans and Joe Buck made way to big of a deal about it. Honestly it's the Packer fans that would moon Moss when their bus would leave the stadium. Who cares.... If he scores a TD in green and gold fans will forgive him especially if the pass came from #4.

Who didn't quit on the Raiders.
So did our TE's and WR's.

Anyone who has watched Moss knows he's not about the receptions. He's about the big play and getting the score.

Ron Wolf made a bold move in trading a 1st round pick for a 3rd string QB in Atlanta. It got GB to the Super Bowl and we won one. If Favre comes back next season I think Ted Thompson could make a bold move as well but it ultimately depends on whether or not Favre comes back. Anyone who thinks Moss wouldn't be a huge help for the Packers offense this year didn't watch a single game then. Though I hardly believe this will happen.

This guy might as well stop making a big deal about his cap figure because GB has the 2nd most cap in the NFL and when Favre retires that clears up another 10 millon.

This would be a huge steal for the Pack. If nothing else, you know you would get 2 huge games out of Moss each year when he plays Minny.

I would probably cry if this happened. :crying:

As much as I've despised Moss over the years, I'd welcome him to Green Bay with open arms.

    Pull the trigger!
