Even if the new kids don't play, it's apparent that at least change is in the air.
"I was told I was going to play (tonight)," said Belak, who would be making his season debut.
It was not as readily apparent if Gamache or Stralman would play, although Gamache practised yesterday on a line with Matt Stajan at centre and Darcy Tucker on the wing.
That line alone marked a shift in personnel and strategy. Alex Steen, who had been on Stajan's wing, was moved up to the top line with Mats Sundin and Jason Blake.
Tucker, held off the scoreboard as a third-liner so far this season, is now on what is technically the second unit.
www.thestar.com/Sports/article/265655

Im liking what Paul Maurice is doing and apparantly it worked as the Leafs won 8-1 tonight, definitley what the Buds needed after a horrible defeat to the Canes. Gamache according to the boxscore had a great game so hopefully this can give him a boost of confidence that he can ride, Stralman however was inactive against the Islanders today but im really liking our defensemen so far so I really cant see who would be scratched to make room for him.
