ok, so I don't have YESHD, I only have YES. at the nets site, it say some games are on YESHD while others are on YES. a stupid question, but since I don't have HD- does this mean the ones that are on HD aren't on YES simitaniously?

YESHD has is the same broadcast as YES just in a higher quality. So yes, they run simultaneously.

How do you get the HD and not the regular? I would think it comes with the territory

The yankees only broadcast some of there games in HD so I think thats what it means. the ones that say HD are on both otherwise they are just on standard yes. I have never been a fan of YESHD anyway. The Mets games on SNYHD always look better.

i have IO and HD channels are in the 700's. so if i am watching YES normal YES is channel 70 while YESHD is 715. both channels carry what is being broadcast because everyone doesnt have HD yet. so if you have HD or dont have HD you are still going to be able to watch the Nets. the best thing about HD is switching back to regular channels and comparing nonHD to HD. plus, my HD tv doesnt project nonHD channels that good which is a disappointment because every station doesnt have a HD channel yet, but most do. when you get an HD box you still get the normal channels, you are just adding the HD channels to your availability list
