Luol Deng needs to step it up. You can't depend on hmi to make a shot when you need it. He just disappeared when Dallas put the pressure on. Him and Kirk are in disarray right now, niether can get anything going, niether are #1 options. Luol gets nice opportunistic baskets, but he'll never be able to create a basket for himself the way Gordon can, thus why Gordon will continue to be our first option.

    Re: NBA: DALLAS at CHICAGO

Joakim Noah has had stone hands tonight. Rebounds and passes just bouncing off his hands constantly. He is not ready to start in the NBA.

JamesOn Curry isn't good. Why people think so highly of him is beyond me. He reminds me a lot of Vonteego Cummings a few years ago (otherwise, absolutely terrible).

Gray conitues to post up well, and get good position in boxing out. Its hard to draw up an exact comparison for Aaron Gray right now....he reminds me a lot of Eddy Curry offensively so far...just not as athletic. His rebounding is Tim Duncan like kind of?

    Re: NBA: DALLAS at CHICAGO

    Nice. Bulls win 100-92.

Tyrus Thomas 13 points 7 rebounds 3 steals 1 block
    Luol Deng 18 points
Joakim Noah 11 points 7 rebounds 3 assists
Aaron Gray 14 points 10 rebounds

Our big men combined for 40 points (Gray, Thomas, Wallace, Noah). Thats pretty good. Joe Smith is going to have a hard time finding minutes with Thomas, Gray, and Noah all on this team.

Anyone who says we do not have a post presence is just ignorant now. Aaron Gray is a post up presence, back to the basket player, and he's for real.

When Tyrus Thomas was on the court, it sure seemed like he was the best player on the Bulls. His jumpshot looked legit (2-4 from what I saw on the jumpshot). He had a nice dunk, and drew lots of fouls for freethrows. His rebounding was much improved.

Very good game, enjoyable to watch. The true bums like Barrett and the other guys didn't get much burn, if any. Viktar khryapa and JamesOn Curry, the two scrubs garaunteed to make our roster weren't very good. Curry has a lot of the same moves as Gordon....but Curry just can't hit a shot if his life depended on it.

Thomas Gardner looks very good. He might be worth a look for the 15th spot, he had a nice poster on Dirk in the 3rd (or maybe it was 4th) quarter.

I know its early, but this looks like a special defense, the type that might hold teams to around 90 PPG per game. As long as we stay healthy, I just don't see anyway that we don't win 56 games or more.
