For those of you who haven't heard yet, Williams was late for shootaround, and sits out the 76ers game.
Courtesy of Netsdaily:
QUOTE

Sean Williams arrived 15 minutes late for shootaround Friday afternoon and, as a result, is not playing in the first preseason game in Philly. haha I've spent the last couple of minutes watching the boxscore and couldn't figure out for the life of me why Sean wasn't getting ANY minutes. Thanks for clearing this up peg

I don't get the comments by the beat writers that he missed a great opportunity with so many players not on the court last night. He isn't going to be effected by the return of Carter or Jefferson. In fact, the opposite might be true. The starting bigs played a lot of minutes against Philly. They will need more of a rest now as a result. He should a lot of time on court vs. Charlotte. Will be interesting to see what he can do.

QUOTE (nextlevelgame)

Pathetic.

Don't be so quick to judge...as JAMES said, Frank said there was a valid reason. For all you know, there could have been a family emergency, or his car broke down.
Let's wait and see if anything else like this happens with Sean...I'm remaining hopeful this isn't really anything to worry about.
