QUOTE

There are well-founded rumblings that Kobe has his sights on Chicago or Dallas. So, would a package revolving around Luol Deng, Ben Gordon, Kirk Hinrich, Tyrus Thomas and/or Andres Nocioni work? Could the Mavericks put together a workable deal around Josh Howard?
How about Phoenix (Amare Stoudemire or Shawn Marion)? Would the Heat give up Wade for a Shaq-Kobe reunion, creating new material for an episode of "CSI Miami"?
And what if Kobe's advisers decided the only stage worthy of his dynamism is New York, and they threatened to veto every other potential deal in order to make it happen? If so, know that Isiah Thomas would offer his entire roster to do it.
But there still remains one other possible scenario, one that could keep Bryant in yellow and purple, and it has to do with Bynum and Phil Jackson.
Buss also said in the interview that he wants to keep Jackson as head coach. Jackson wants Kobe on the team and has pushed the Lakers to do whatever is necessary to appease Bryant, even if it means trading Bynum.
Maybe the Lakers will ultimately realize it's better to go with Bryant and Jackson than the potential of Bynum.
"The fact is," Jackson said on ESPN last month, "we still have a player in Kobe Bryant who's probably not going to be around to see that potential ever develop, and I'd like to see him get the opportunity to exercise what he has, which is being one of the greats in the NBA and get back to the championship."

Source: The NJ Star Ledger
Kobe for Amare?
Kobe for Deng package?
Kobe for Josh Howard package?
Kobe for Wade?
These are some interesting packages from this article, especially the Kobe for Wade trade to reunite Kobe and Shaq. I'm not sure if there are any legs to the rumor, and if Miami was shopping Wade, I'd be very skeptical about his shoulder injury. Would Kobe with Shaq put Miami back in a position to make another title run versus Wade and Shaq? If the Lakers agreed to swap Antoine Walker for Kwame Brown or Radman or Walton would Pat Riley pull the trigger to unload Walker and get an upgrade over Wade?
Lakers would have a young core to build around with Wade/Bynum/Odom
Miami upgrades at two positions and unloads Walker's toxic contract. Kobe is only 3 years older than Wade.

damn kobe and shaq again, doubt it happens...
The mavericks seems to have some players and picks to trade, as well as Pheonix.

The Amare trade will sure be nice.I think that if we trade Kobe it should be at least superstar for superstar the Kobe and Shaq reunion seems unlickely I;ll go for that PHX deal and try to get Amare here he would help the team a lot and will have three guys to work around in Odom/Bynum and Amare.

Amare would be nice. Wade too. The only thing about Wade is the way he plays. With wreckless abandon. I'm not too sure he'd last many seasons if he keeps that up. I mean he gives it is all, but there is only so much the body can take.

I would do the Amare deal in a heartbeat. Think of a Bynum/Stoudemire frontcourt in the next couple of years.

Phx: Wont work coz we all want Amare and if its gonna be Amare + Barbosa or whoever for Kobe the PHX will have a Huge hole in the Paint
Toronto: Lakers wont get enough talent if a Ford, Calderon Parker or whoever for Kobe trade happens
Min: Davis, Green, Foye for Kobe? who will be left for Min? Kobe and jefferson alone cant win a title
erm the Bulls trade would STILL BE THE BEST FOR BOTH TEAMS
Kobe for Gordon, Wallace, Noah or Thomas, Picks galore
Lakers: Javaris, Gordon, Odom, Wallace and Bynum (This lineup will greatly develop Bynum)
Bulls: Hinrich, Kobe, Deng, Thomas or Noah, FA? = East Conf Finals vs. Boston

kobe23 is right, the bulls deal is the best looking right now, i would still love to see amare in a lakers uni though, if kobe does get traded though, i think he will want to go to the east, that way he will be certain of atleast getting past second round, the east is alot weaker than the west and kobe could take over in the east and have a better chance at the title. i would still love to see him in phoenix with nash and marion, and with amare here in Laker Land.
