I want the Pats and Bears in it. I'm sure everyone else wants anyone but the Pats in it though. I can understand why though, with parity being on everyone's mind unless their team is getting to the Super Bowl frequently.

Its obvious... Saints/Colts. Dungy & Peyton finally getting to the big game. Saints continuuing that feel good story. Its like Bettis last year.

Whats also obvious is that I'm going to be accused of drinking large amounts of Hater-ade. C'est la vie.

Hater-ade is okay I guess. Don't hate the Pats though, hate us for liking them, if that makes any sense.

I got respect for Bill B, the franchise, & Pats fans. Its the occasional tactics used by the minority that ruffle my feathers. Am I right, Dale?

I think that Bill Belichick is a good coach, but I think he's being petty when it comes to Mangini and his shoving a photographer didn't help matters. I know he apologized, but I'm not convinced that he didn't do it just because he was told to or realized it looked bad on TV. I respect the Patriots team for their on field accomplishments, but I'm sick and tired of hearing them cry about disrespect and then showing other teams the same disrespect they claim to hate. I don't mind a sack dance because it's like an offensive guy getting to do an endzone dance after he scores, but when the game is over it's time to shake hands. Mocking the other team is distasteful no matter how you slice it. As for Pats fans and this forum, respect is a tricky word. After having to defect so many baseless accusations this season, including being compared to a terrorist, saying I respect the Patriot fans would ring hollow. Despite that, I think the Pats fans are probably good guys. Some objectivity would go a long way to earning my respect. Backing up arguments with substance rather than subjectivity would help as well. Any 10 year old can say that Brady is a good quarterback and plays well in the clutch so the Patriots will win, but can you put some depth behind those claims? You are right about the most important thing, BA. It's not the success that irritates me because I was rooting for the Patriots in their three previous Super Bowls. It's the disrespect and arrogance that has followed that gets my goat from time to time.

I think that Colts vs. Saints would be a great game, but it probably will be Pat's vs. Bears.

I agree. But, the lovefest has been going on throughout the postseason. It potentially could be much worse than all the Melodrama regarding Bettis last year.

A poll on Headline News this morning said 68% (an overwhelming majority) believe the Saints are America's team.

Which is about the same as W's approval rating. Scary coincedental. ROFL.

I'd like to see Colts-Bears. Great offense vs great defense. As long as Manning can get his sh!t together. I am getting tired of the whole thing with the Saints supposably providing such a lift for the people devastated by hurricane Katrina. I'm sorry, but I don't think you're home team winning means much compared to the fact that you're house, job, and life as you know it was destroyed, and the government is pretending it's all better now. How many people in that stadium do you really think are the ones who's houses were destroyed, who were wading through the flooded streets, who are now, if they're lucky, living in government appointed trailers? Many of the people are still renting apartments, working low paying jobs, just so they can get by, waiting and hoping they're insurance policy on their home will come through, most of which won't. I'm sure it's nice to hear that your favorite NFL team is winning, and in the playoffs, but I'd say it's more likely to bring about the response; " Well I'm glad everything is going good for them now".
