As im sitting here, think yesterday game was our game, but it didnt came out the way we wanted. We had suffer a lost, coming from the last winning drive by Peyton Manning. For all these years since Brady became a Patriot, he had 24 game winning drives. 6 in the Playoff. He made people suffer many of his game winning drive ended their hopes. Yesterday, we actually felt exactly how hurt it was, after a lost to Indy. The only drive that is coming from another team, and Brady did 24 times. Which gave us a taste of Brady's Medication. but from Manning. Hey, brady did it 24 times. Hurting Fans across the country. I guess we're just so use to Brady Winning Drive. I am only 24 years old. and also RedSox Fan, and actually a chance to experience Red Sox 2004 Championship. Even though we didnt win another Championship since 2004, but WE DID WON 2004 But my point is, We won Three Championship Already. RECENTLY!! Lets not be Greedy. Cheer up Guys.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (blackadder)</div><div class='quotemain'>You are using 24 alot. Is your name Jack Bauer? lol.</div> I don't think so, BA. I don't think he knows Jack. I hate to break our Patriot fans hearts, but you guys do know that football wasn't invented by Bill Belichick in 2001. All that crap about making other people suffer makes me laugh. The Patriots all-time record is barely above .500. The Dolphins have about 22 more victories all-time despite being 6 years younger than the Patriots. The Dolphins are about 117 games over .500. The Dolphins lead the all-time series with the Patriots by 13 games. You'll have to excuse me if I don't see the Patriots as God's gift to football. Be proud of your team, but realize that there have been other teams that were in the winner's circle LONG before the Patriots ever got a sniff of it.
Hey Dale don't you have anything better to do then spit in our face when we're down? I guess not. You guys had a hall of fame QB & you still couldn't win the big one. Not many franchises can say that.
I find it interesting that turnabout is not fairplay. For most of September & October, Dale, Beef, & myself did nothing (on this site) but do damage control for something we had no control over from numerous individuals. Ahhh! The Marino never won ring comment. This played out argument carries NO water at all since Dan's retired & enshrined in Canton. Truth be told; It may be just as well that The Dolphins haven't won a Super Bowl in many years... you can't deal with us now. There is no way you could deal w/ the Dwo if we were as cocky & arrogant as alleged earlier this season. I guarantee I'll display more class when (not if) the phins win multiple titles. I have one real good example of how not to behave.
Right because your behavior of late has been so honorable. According to you guys the Patriots should be stripped of all their rings as they were all tainted in controversy. Your jealousy over Brady & your agenda that he's overrated is outright sickening.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (bakes781)</div><div class='quotemain'>Right because your behavior of late has been so honorable. </div> I'll be the 1st to admit I'm not perfect. This is what he do since the middle of the regular season. He know that dolphin didnt had any chance to reach the playoff, so he went CRAZY. So forgive him for his comments. Dale if you want to switch team, you can join us AS a PATS FAN.... LOL

Was it when I said to be proud of your team? Oh no! I guess you took exception to my saying that the Patriots weren't God's gift to football. What an incredible insult. How can you guys be down when your team was just in a Championship game? Try to find some perspective. Which Hall of Fame QB are you refering to? The original Cerebral Assassin and my favorite player of all time, Bob Griese, has two Super Bowl rings. Okay, Dan didn't get one, but what about jim Plunkett? I can remember all the hoopla and magazine covers featuring Jim Plunkett, the Savior of the Patriots. Plunkett had to go to Oakland to win his Super Bowl ring. I don't remember the Oilers winning a Super Bowl with Warren Moon. I don't remember the Bills winning a Super Bowl with Jim Kelly. You may enjoy throwing Marino's lack of a Super Bowl ring in my face, but if the Patriots front office hadn't had their collective heads up their butts and drafted Tony Eason, the 85 Patriots could have had Marino, the only QB to beat the 85 Bears, on their team. I'm not saying that Marino on the 85 Patriots would have beaten the 85 Bears, but they would have stood a better chance than they did. Edit - Fran Tarkenton didn't win a Super Bowl with the Vikings either, not that I expect a Patriots fan to bother to check facts. Dan Fouts of the Chargers didn't win a Super Bowl either.

Was it honorable to run around claiming the Patriots superiority over the Broncos even though they kept beating the Patriots? Was it honorable to scoff at the notion of the Steelers being any kind of competition to win the Super Bowl last year? What it honorable to declare a Super Bowl victory after beating the Chargers? Start holding yourself to the same principles that you hold others, then come back and talk to us about honor. Keep telling yourself that we're just jealous of Brady and not sick of the Patriots and their fanbase being poor winners and even poorer losers because it's obvious that you can't handle the truth.
LOL, you guys are funny. For once I'm not bickering with you and I'm just on the sidelines watching the dogfight. Anyway, this loss stings like 1,000 wasps to me but I also realize that we've been very spoiled over the past few seasons. Can you imagine being a Raiders or Lions fan last year where if the team won a game, the fans celebrated like it was the damn Super Bowl? We are very fortunate to be fans of this Patriots team right now because we have an awesome coach and an awesome QB, among other good things. We may not get to the playoffs this year or 5 years from now but you can bet that this team will remain at least a 50/50 team for a long time to come. I doubt we'll have to worry about many losing seasons, especially if we draft well and get some good FAs along the way. This team will find a way to remain good, if not very good. That said, I think the Jets will take the division next season. Just a hunch, but we've got a pretty tough schedule.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DolfanDale)</div><div class='quotemain'>I hate to break our Patriot fans hearts, but you guys do know that football wasn't invented by Bill Belichick in 2001.</div> Maybe not, but in the salary cap era Bob Kraft has orchestrated the model franchise. When your team was eliminated from contention I did not slap it in your face at every opportunity. I've disputed whether a team earned a victory or if it was given to them by the other team's mistakes. I felt the way I feel about beating SD as I did when Denver beat us last year. We didn't win the game against the Super Chargers. They lost the game. At the same time I felt we could've played better as well. As hard as it is for you to believe I am an objective fan. We all said SD was the best team going into the playoffs, so naturally after beating them I felt we were now the team to beat. Turns out I was wrong. Yeah I was bold & confident, but I'm willing to take my lumps. If you're gonna join the rest of the mob that wanna proclaim the dynasty dead then you can't expect me not to dispute that. And I think if I accused your team of cheating you'd take serious offense to that as well.

The Patriots made it to the Championship Game and I expect them to be good again next year. I guess we will need to try and find an answer to how many years can you go without winning a Super Bowl without declaring a dynasty dead. There was a two year gap between the Steelers 2nd and 3rd Super Bowls, so I would say not yet. Perhaps you might try and locate a sense of humor, Bakes. I don't see the Chesseheads getting their panties in a wad over Favre making-a-deal jokes. There's a hint of seriousness to the jokes because the Favre-Strahan incident did looks shady, but we've taken it to another level. There have been a few times where I thought the Patriots either cheated or benefitted from something shady. The Snow Plow game was an obvious cheat. The Tuck Incident looked very shady. I had never heard a rule interpretation like that in 25 years of football and without it the Raiders probably would have won and the Patriots would have one less Super Bowl Trophy. I just took that a built upon it assuming that competent readers would be able to seperate the fact from fiction. Again, I now know why BA never assumes.
Yeah, I doubt anybody wanted that. Besides, the 2001 patriots were America's team. You know, their theme and 9/11 and all that stuff.
The Patriots theme doesn't make them any more patriotic than the Redskins theme makes them Native American. All of the NFL teams were wearing a sticker of the American flag on their helmet. All of the cities being represented in the NFL are American cities. One of the reasons I hate the Dallas Cowboys is their claim to be America's team. That's taking arrogance to it's next level, narcissism. Wouldn't it have been more appropriate for the New York Giants or New York Jets to rise up and win the Super Bowl? Hey, that would have been interesting. Do you root for or against the New York Jets after 9/11?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I don't see the Chesseheads getting their panties in a wad over Favre making-a-deal jokes.</div> I made a deal with Favre so it wouldn't bother me anymore.
