First of all, congratulations to the Colts and Bears to making it to Super Bowl XVI. But mostly, congratulations to Lovie Smith and Tony Dungy for being the first black head coaches to make it to the Super Bowl.

I'm seriously getting annoyed with Charger fans here. They keep complaining about the fact that they might boycott watching the game because they deserved to be there instead of the Colts. I seriously broke into a laughter. And about 15 minutes later, I laughed again. Another 15, I grew tired and got a drink. Then I told them the meaning of a football fan.

Even though your team doesn't make it. I tell them to ask themselves these 3 questions.
Why take it out on the other teams?
Why not blame your management of the game that Sunday?
Why are you crying like a bitch?

The main arguement is that they clearly had a "better team than them" or "we have LT." My favorite is "At least they are better than the Ravens." I acknowledged it and said "I know, that is why they aren't in the playoffs." That shut them up for a while.

Watching the conference games, a few things stood out to me.

    1. Reggie Bush is an idiot.
    2. The Saints magical run ended. It would have been nice for them to make it to the Super Bowl but they can't always ride the white cloud there (not a cocaine joke).
    3. I don't want to say this but, I really believe Bob Sanders is a game changer in terms of Colt's D.
    4. 2 Offensive linemen scored in that game, they seriously should get more face time since they don't really plan these touchdown celebrations.
    5. I was watching the pre game show outside BestBuy in line for a Wii. I found out most gamers are football fans as well. I should of recommended them to this site but I forgot...

Anyways... I want to compile a list of people I dislike/respect.

    I dislike...
Michael Irvin - the analyist NOT THE PLAYER
Reggie Bush - don't taunt Urlacher, you know he can crush you like a bug
Mel Gibson - A PURE IDIOT
Al Davis - The kyptonite to the Raiders organization

    I respect...
    Ray Lewis - Kinda obvious...
Fullbacks (Lorenzo Neal, Justin Griffith, Mike Karney, etc.) - Colleges just aren't producing these players
    Myself - Another obvious choice

    With that, I'm done.

Umm, then where did they come from? All those guys were running backs in college before they were running backs in the pro's....Colleges are churning out FBs like mad, NFL teams just arent drafting them....FBs are like kickers, no team ever carries more than 2 and most teams just carry 1, so that doesnt leave a lot of jobs available....Im all for your love of FBs, but to say colleges arent producing them is ridiculous....

Following up on the FB's, Oliver Hoyte (Cowboys) was a LB at NC State. Parcells did not think he was an NFL LB, so, he moved OH back to a position he played in H.S.

One theory is that those who are too short to play OG are moved to FB.

Really? I did not know that. I just mean that most teams are using H-backs in their formation and aren't really using the whole brusing lead blocker in front of the RB. I think the Colts play mainly single back formation. Other teams might put a tight end behind the QB and block for them. I remember seeing a guy by the name of "refrigerater" Perry in the backfield back in the days (even though I wasn't born...), I think he was a defensive linemen.

I am not a big fan of the I formation w/ a FB or the real West coast (2 backs spit). My preference is the old school Joe Gibbs scheme w/ 2 TE's.

The 2 TE set provides more flexibility IMO & the Colts are a prime example.

"Fridge" Perry was a DT who occasionally played FB kinda like Klecko for the Pats then & Colts now. Its funny he scored when da Bears were last in the Super Bowl (21 yrs ago) & Walter Payton did not.

I like the 2 TE set too. Really, it comes down to can i get 2 TEs that would make me want to run it? I would go with whatever was best based on my personell. If i could get 4 all pro type WRs i would run a 4 WR offense. No one has 4 corners that good. So, you would force teams to play a lot of zone, and you are going to be pretty damn effective knowing the D in advance.

AMEN!Charger fans are some of the worst football fans in the universe....It warmed my heart to see the cocky bastards go out in the 1st playoff game, AGAIN.

He said most gamers are football fans.....It's like math...

Assume the following statement is true:
    All gamers are football fans...

If this statement is true then all football fans are gamers....?
    NO...

    k.....
Bob Sanders is obviously a playmaker and probably the most important player on the team outside of Manning...

Come on now, I watched the cocky bastard play in college, he was always jawing with other players trying to start stuff and he'd always do his little celebration leaps,etc...when he scored.....The guy is overrated as a player and underrated as smacktalker....He talks a lot of smack...I don't hate Reggie Bush, this is the simple truth many not living on the West Coast don't know bout him..

I firmly belive in a 2 TE offense..I just think you can create mismatches in the passing game without giving up any size in the running game....
