LOL.....blind Sony fanboy in the house!!

I dont understand those upset PS3 fans who talk about the future PS3 library, when the 360 has had the best games so far and 08 will be no exception.
And how can you say the PS3 has pretty much no negatives. The game library on it is TRASH.
Not true. Resistance:Fall of Man, MotorStorm, Ninja Gaiden:Sigma, WarHawk and Heavenly Sword are some pretty darn good games. Best part, they're all unique. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is coming out next month, which will be another key title. Haze and Unreal Tournament, too.No, the PS3 does not have three games that define the whole system like the 360 does, but that does not make it's games "trash."
EA games run way slower on it than the 360.
Firstofall,EAishardlya"modeldeveloper,"secondofall,they'restillgettingusedtothePS3. It is not easy to develop for it.
They system still overheats, despite what you may think.
You're the only one that may believe that, because it does not overheat. Are you still talking about the demo kits back from mid 2006 closed in a box without ventilation? There have been no issues with overheating since launch.
To me, no rumble in the controllers is a pretty big turn off as well, but that could be soley my opinion.
It'scomingback.Personally,Ihaven'tmisseditatall.IwillhoweverpickupaRumbleControlleronceMGS4comesout.
My other issue with the PS3 is it's hardware. Developers have a hell of a time making games for it BECAUSE of the Blu-ray. Blu-ray is a lot harder to develop games on than the regular HD-DVD hardware the 360 uses, and that's a big reason why no good games are on it (aside from a few) and also why some titles run better on the 360.
You're completely missinformed on this point.Blu-Ray is a new high definition storage disc, it just gives developers 50 gigs to use on a disc rather than the regular DVD-9 (9 gigs) used on the 360.Blu-Ray is just a disc, games are not developed on it, they're just stored on it.The 360 does not have "the regular HD-DVD hardware," it just uses a normal double layered DVD. HD-DVD is sold as a add-on to play HD movies. Games cannot be played on it.Blu-Ray is not the reason why "there are no good games on the PS3."
To me, what's the point of using hardware you don't know how to make games for, it's pointless. The same goes with the processors. The thing has what, 6 processors in it, and at the moment, they only use one. For the love god, if you have that much power in there, use it to make some worthwhile games.
Once again, you're missinformed. The PS3 has seven SPE's which developers use to assign different tasks to them. When a game is not just ported from the 360, the developers do use the SPEs. For example, Insomniac used three of the SPE's when they developed Resistance, which looks pretty darn good. If you look at the new Rachet and Clank, it's obvious that they've made lots of improvements since Resistance (about a year later.) It's not easy to develop for a brand new processor, so developers will need time to get used to it.

Obviously it will not replace everybody's 30 dollar DVD player right away. (It may never, but I bet developers will still take 50 gigs for games over 9.)

    ^ Owned.

I've played both the 360 and PS3, and personally the PS3 has much nicer gameplay, the controllers are easier to use, and it was just a little bit funner of an experience playing the PS3. This is coming from someone who thinks that Halo is the most overrated game in the history of mankind though.

I dont understand how someone can get so defensive over a stupid console, im not speaking of any single person in this thread but just the fanboys in general. For some people spending $500+ on a entertainment console is expensive so they purchase the product which best suits their gaming desire, for some it maybe the simple, family friendly Wii and for others the modern PS3 with HD graphics. Personally when I was deciding which console to purchase it was either the PS3 or 360 and for the simple fact that I was mainly going to use the console for gaming I chose the 360 because of its vast gaming library along with the superb online service which provides new demos and arcade games pretty much every week. Now I realize the 360 has a high failure rate but with the extended warranty provided by Microsoft you can just get your console replaced or fixed....early in September mine overheated but shorty after calling customer service I got my console replaced within 3 weeks so I dont honestly see the problem with that. Anyways, this wasnt a post to bash the PS3 just my opinion on which console best fits me.

What 20 games were out at launch for the PS3?..link and dates pls.

Blu-Ray is a new movie format, its not DVD, since it uses blue-laser diodes to read the discs. It has 25GB on single layerto 50GB on double layercapacity. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blu-Ray.
