QUOTE

The Nets had a safe pick, Jason Smith of Colorado State, in mind as well, but Smith and Brandon Wright had been hammered by Williams in a workout that the Bobcats had arranged, one that several teams had attended. Lucas told RealGM that Williams outplayed the other two power forwards and that it “wasn’t even close.” Reportedly, Williams blocked five of Smith’s shots.
WOW. This just makes me all the more disappointed he missed the Sixers game.

Overall, greatly written article. It puts together everything about Sean Williams--in High School, College, Summer League, and Training Camp. Puts together thoughts from writers, players, coaches, the front office...basically anyone who's said anything about Sean Williams.

The thing I'm wondering the most is how he'll do with rebounding--obviously, he wasn't the best rebounder in college, but word from camp was he has worked on and is working on his rebounding. I actually have faith in the Nets' coaches to be able to help him out there, as with Nenad, since it seemed every season he was getting better and better at rebounding.

Great article NI, it was a nice read. Keep 'em comin!

wow, AWESOME article NI. I, as well as all of us, high appreciate your writings. Sean Williams...hell, I've only seen him a bit in pracitce camp on NBAtv..but I'm already a fan of his, and reading this article raised my interes to much higher levels. I can't wait till the 18th when I'll hopefully see him in action for the first pre-season home game.

    Thanks.

He may start tonight in Charlotte. Smart move if it happens. Rewards the kid for work, shows that the lateness is really not an issue.
