He replaces Al Wilson of the Denver Broncos to go to his 8th pro bowl in his 11 year NFL career.

Congratulations Ray. I was somewhat mad when he didn't get selected but he deserves it. He finished the season with 164 total tackles, 5 sacks, and 2 interceptions.

He also joins fellow Ravens; Ed Reed, Jonathan Ogden, Adalius Thomas, Terrell Suggs, and Chris McAlister in Hawaii.

That's pretty impressive with the fact that he only started 14 games. He recorded 23 total tackles, 13 solo, in the divisional loss to the Colts.

Where are you getting your stats? I checked two places, Yahoo.com and NFL.com, and they both have Ray Lewis with 80 tackles and 23 assists adding up to 103 total tackles. (Did ya know that Zach Thomas has 103 tackles and 62 assists adding up to 165 total tackles? Interesting.)

Mr. A.J. Hawk has 82 solo tackles with 37 assists, adding up to 119 tackles. He has 3.5 sacks and 2 INTs. Hawk should be in more that Ray. Ehy?

Congrats to Ray anyways. I might go to a Ravens game next year mate [IMG]

Would have been really dumb to put an NFC player on AFC squad eh?

That's okay. I'm sure it's just the whores of media trying to inflate the legend of Ray Lewis to mythical proportions. I think Ray is a great linebacker, but I don't think he's any better than Brian Urlacher or Zach Thomas. The whores just love Ray because he's so much more vocal and does silly dances. The whores love players who provide them with fluff.

I believe the title of Eric Bischoff's bio sums it up best...

Hmm... The Ravens did offer Ray a new contract that would give him more money when the season was over... He denied it. I guess he doesn't really care about the money now. BTW, The dancing does pump up his teammates. It even does pump up the fans, like me!
