Thursday night is going to be fun. With the trouble Rutgers had stopping penetration from UC's D-Line, USF should give Teel fits.

I'm looking forward to seeing those two big SEC matches.

Auburn has been playing great these last two weeks, but they are getting a bunch of angry tigers at night and at home. I'm a big believer in Auburn, but the odd's are not in their favor this week.

QUOTE (cpawfan)

Thursday night is going to be fun. With the trouble Rutgers had stopping penetration from UC's D-Line, USF should give Teel fits.

Sosa should be able to contain Selvie effectively on the left side. And two changes that will likely make a HUGE difference in our blocking is the addition of Anthony Davis starting at RG and Jean Beljour in the backfield at FB. Beljour is 10x the blocker Corcoran is. This will help in two ways: 1) Better protection for Teel by picking up blitzing LB's or helping Sosa with Selvie if need be. And 2) Better lead blocking for Ray. In the Cincy game, Rice rushed for 2.8 yards per carry. The first three quarters Ray got virtually no yardage at all. In the 4th, he got a total of 34 yards, and was able to break off a few nice runs of 8-10 yards. The difference between the first three quarters and the final one? Beljour. He is so good at getting to the linebacker and allowing Rice to get to the second level, something Corcoran needs to work on if he wants to play next year (freshman stud Jourdan Brooks, who's currently redshirting, has tremendous potential. 250 lbs with 4.5 speed, and Schiano loves him, so all indications are he'll be getting a lot of PT next year). It's no coincidence that Rice had his best rushing game on Saturday (albeit against Cuse) with Beljour getting his first start of the season. Beljour is much more "Leonard-esque" than Corcoran in terms of lead blocking. That, coupled with the fact that Davis is starting at RG, means Rice should be seeing some of his best rushing opportunities all year. And if this is the case, and Ray is getting big plays early on, USF will likely adjust and bring more men in the box to contain Ray. This, in turn, increases the chances for Teel to hit Britt, Underwood, and Brown down the field. Establishing the run will be key, because forcing that extra man in the box to contain Rice, allows Teel to get the ball out of his hands much more quickly. And the quicker he gets the ball out of his hand and into the air, the less likely it is that he gets sacked, which doesn't happen all that often anyway.

It has been a long time since I have been so disgusted as a fan. UC played like they were 0-7
Such a pathetic display by all 3 phases.

QUOTE (Dissonance19)

No realinteresting early games. Maybe Tenn-Bama if you're into that.

This actually turned out to be a fun game to watch. Bama could just do no wrong, everything they tried worked.

Big time win by my Gators today. Tebow is the real deal and should certainly be high in the Heisman race. We should crack the top 10 again!!!!

Holy shit! I cannot believe the outcome of the LSU Auburn game. Les Miles is either the dumbest man in college football or his nuts are the size of basketballs and made of solid brass.

What a finish, only thing that got to me was how they were saying if it was incomplete the game was over, because there were 4 secs left when he scored, but they ranoff 3.

Yeah, it looked to me like LSU would have still been able to get a FG off if the pass was incomplete.
