CHICAGO (Ticker) -- Luol Deng scored 11 points and grabbedeight rebounds to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 97-76 rout of theWashington Wizards in exhibition action on Tuesday night. Bulls coach Scott Skiles indicated to the media earlier in theweek that he wanted to keep his regulars at or around the20-minute mark in order to keep them fresh for the regularseason. He was able to do that as nine Chicago players played at least17 minutes but no more than 26. That time distribution led toseven Bulls scoring at least eight points. Tuesday also marked the Chicago debut of forward Joe Smith, whois expected to fill the role of departed starter P.J. Brownafter signing as a free agent in the offseason. The 12-yearveteran played 13 minutes and scored seven points. Rookie Nick Young, who left Southern California following hisjunior season, led the Wizards with 16 points. Andray Blatcheadded 14, rookie Oleksiy Pecherov netted 12 and superstarGilbert Arenas had eight in 22 minutes for Washington. Wizards forward Antawn Jamison left the game with a mild anklesprain in the second quarter and did not return.

Re: NBA: WASHINGTON at CHICAGO I was only able to catch the radio broadcast. By the way, Glenn Consor is adding his countless years of Wizards analyst by joining Dave Johnson on Wizards Radio Network to work alongside on the games. In that case, who's doing the post game live on CSN besides Walt Williams? Ed Tapscott and Glenn are gone and 2 guys are pretty boring...
I know Deshawn Stevenson and Caron Butler were out and the Wizards had some trouble working the offense. Antawn's shot wasn't falling and it capped off his career night by mildly spraining his ankle, he should be fine for Friday's game though. Andray Blatche had a great game, especially coming back after rolling his ankle, he was able to score on Ben Wallace a few times.
I can't wait to head over to Verizon Center on Friday and watch the first team's game there. They also added the new HD scoreboard, so that's gotta be sick.
