I think team PPG is gonna be something like 106...

Player PPG I think will be like:

    Yao: 25-26

    T-Mac: 24-25

Battier, Scola (if he starts): 8-10

Mike James (off the bench) : 10-12

which leaves about 30 PPG for the rest of the squad. What do you guys think?

That sounds about right to me. Mike's ppg will depend a lot on his mpg. If Adelman wants to fit Luther Head and/or Steve into the rotation, and Bonzi also, than Mike may not see much more than 20 mpg.

I expect there won't be a lot of minutes, though, between Luther and Steve. Of course, it's just a hunch; we're only a couple preseason games in.

IMO, Scola less, Battier more. And Rafer's gettin around 10-12 I'd say, especially if Adelman likes him so much. Throw Bonzi in, he could get around 12 ppg...and then Francis, if he gets PT, gets at least 10, and Head about 10. It'll be tough to say how the scoring is spread around, because it seems Houston has so much depth with their scoring.

It'll be good for them...good for Tmac, and Yao especially. They'll be able to take less of the scoring load, and to do more of the other things needed--pass, rebound, steal, block, play D. The Rockets have most of the pieces in position, it's just a matter of whether or not Adelman can put it together. And this is Rick Adelman we're talking about...I have a feeling he'll do wonders with this team. I'm excited to see what this team does this upcoming season.

    Yao - 25

    Mac - 20

    Bonzi - 13

    James - 9

    Francis - 9

    Rafer - 9

    Battier - 9

    Head - 8

    Scola - 6

    Hayes - 7

9 man rotation that depends on match ups.

    Yao 24, TMac 21, Battier 12, Alston 10, Hayes 6 = starting 5

    Scola 10, James 8, Bonzi 8, Head 7 = bench

That's 106 points. A little more than they'll average this season but you figure someone's going to miss a game or 2, and others will score more pts in their place.

Mutombo and Francis won't be playing every game
