<span class="titolo">Bolton Part Ways With Manager Lee</span></p> <span class="sommario">Sammy Lee has become the second managerial casualty of the Premier league season, after parting ways with Bolton by ‘mutual consent’.</span></p> Lee was only in the job since the end of last season Sam Allardyce left to become Newcastle boss.</p> But since then Lee has struggled to make emulate one of the club’s most successful managers.</p> Of the 14 competitive games he has took charge of since April 30, Lee has managed just three wins and four draws.</p> Bolton currently find themselves in the relegation zone, an unfamiliar position for a club so used to competing for European competitions in recent years.</p> The news comes as little surprise for Little Sam, who was heavily backed by most in and around the game to be the first manager to bite the dust this season only for Jose Mourinho stole his thunder.</p> In recent weeks there has been tension in the squad, with Ivan Campo outspoken in his criticism of the atmosphere around the club.</p> Then, last week Gary Speed was relieved of his coaching duties after being dropped from the starting XI, Kevin Nolan receiving similar treatment.</p> But it seems as though Lee and Bolton have agreed to call it a day on his brief, but eventful tenure.</p> "Bolton Wanderers football club, Sammy Lee and Frank McParland have agreed to part company by mutual consent," read an official statement from Bolton chairman Phil Gartside.</p> "This has been a difficult decision for all parties but we have agreed that time is right.</p> "Sammy has played an important role in the club's recent history. We wish Sammy and Frank well for the future.</p> "Our efforts will now be to look for a replacement manager and to concentrate on the future."</p> </p> </p>
