It wouldn't surprise me, but I think we'd be better off keeping Big Baby on the active 12-man roster. We need that insurance inside.

I'm still wondering why they didn't keep Batista? Expecting Leon Powe to play backup center exclusively doesn't make a lot of sense. He's undersized for a PF, and this means KG will have to guard the post against players like Shaq, Yao, etc. when Perkins gets into foul trouble. Celtics definitely need to add some size to the roster and/or keep Big Baby available just in case.
It's not in the team's best interest to wear down KG during the regular season. He can't help but play with a lot of intensity all game long and he's never been good at pacing himself. Celtics need to do what they can to limit his minutes and physical punishment during the year.
I think Danny Fortson is still available, he doesn't have much left in the tank, but he can be the enforcer on the inside off the bench.
