I really don't think KC making the playoffs was a surprise. I had them winning the division actually.

I think the New Orleans Saints and New York Jets all the way. I thought combined they'd get maybe 8 wins if their lucky. Not 10 each.

    Some surprises:

I thought Baltimore or San Diego would be representing the AFC this year.

The Colts are doing it on D, at just the right time.

Kurt Warner would be injured that quickly.

Randy Moss will take all that money and drop passes.

Robert Gallery can't block, despite having 3 hall of fame linemen there to draw feedback and from.

-The Bengals breaking the Cowboys' single season arrest record.

    -Turd Orifice authoring children's books.

-Jim Mora Sr. finding a set and calling Michael Vick a coach killer. I'm sure that he wishes he had been wrong about that one.

    -Ma..Ma..Ma..Mangini and the Jets.

Tank Johnson getting arrested for illegal firearms possession.

Oh snap, that wasn't a surprise. That is how NFL players roll.

I wouldn't say that KC making the playoffs is/was a surprise in pre-season. But losing Trent Green in the first game and having him be out for half the year really put their season in doubt.

I'd say them bouncing back and limping into the playoffs was a huge surprise after their early season woes.

Wow, I had already forgotten. How could they not have taken either Bush or Vince Young? To pick the Defensive lineman with those two other guys sitting there was not only surprising, but also shocking.

Most obvious is Saints. But the Saints going to the playoffs beats it.

I don't think Ray got snubbed. He did get in but he stepped down for Scott to go in his place because of a hand injury, which is odd because the Ravens didn't report any injury to Ray after the game.

I WANT VINCE YOUNG ON HD!!!

Niners had a pretty good year, pretty big surprise there...

Overall, the biggest surprise would probably be Maurice Jones-Drew.....With his numbers, he was probably the ebst candidate for rookie of the year along with Vince Young...I mean, I knew he'd be a good impact player but he really did it ALL for the Jags offense thius season....He probably deserves the rook of the year as much as V-Young....

Or...biggest surprise would probably be the way the Jets/Bills/Titans stepped it up this season while the Dolphins/Broncos/Steelers faded off into the moonlight in the AFC..
