The Suns own the unprotected 2008 first round draft pick of the Hawks so I will be pulling for the Hawks to make the playoffs this season. Honestly, I don't believe they have a chance, but that won't stop me from pulling for them.

For those of you that have known me for some time, this a lot like my pulling for the Knicks to make the playoffs last season. At least they finished with a better record under Zeke than they did under the clown.

Go Hawks, don't give the Suns a gift.

Haha, I hope the Suns don't get that pick either. I have a very strong feeling for this team. They have a young core, with good pieces in place. We have great chance to get that 8th or 7th spot.

I thank you for your love of the Hawks cpawfan.

Pffft, if they made the deal to get JJincluding thispick, they get what they deserve. Which is a potential gift to the Suns(Woot!).

Will Phoenix keep the pick this time? They've been having fire sales the past two drafts with their picks.

I haveno doubt about it they will keep it. And they did take Tucker and Strawberrythis yras you know. But this teams to get more younger players so we have some sort of future. Especially, if it's a fairly high to midpick we'll keep it.

But they have a list of 5-6 players they wanted last 2 yrs and couldn't move up to get them, so they traded out and saved money for potential FAs. Banks and Hill. Though, first yr, it was supposed to be for Tim Thomas, and then Salmons. Banks was 3rd option.

They won't be getting that gift, I can tell you right now. The Hawks will be making those playoffs, and if they didn't, they will for sure the year after.

Next yr, doesn't matter in terms of this pick though. Suns get it no matter what.

And it's not likeI dislike the Hawks, I had beenhoping they do well for awhile now.

I know next year doesn't matter. But, I the Hawks are making huge leaps. And even if the Hawks don't make it, they will probably be 9th or 10th.

They will most definately be fighting for a playoff spot. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the hawks were in it. Horford is gonna be a beast, and marvin willams and josh smith are making huge progress. Not to mention joe johnson and josh childress.

i wanna see JJ tear it up. last year, he deservingly got picked up as an all-star...this year, i hope he makes even more progress, and carries this team to a 40+ win record...That'd be cool to see.

I think Johnson will score a little less then last year because now Josh Smith, Josh Childress, Horford and Marvin will be getting the ball. However, I know Acie Law can get it to everyone. 40+ would be great, and if that happens, I see coach of the year for Mike Woodson.

Actually it's bad news. If Kerr would have had a top 10 pick, he probably would have picked a trashy player like Anthony Randolph, and let some team picking after them get a player that can play.
